Fur kid adoption update...

One word explains it...frustrated!
I understand that the pet rescue organizations are volunteer operated.  But what frustrates me is that with so many animals looking for new, secure homes and people like me looking to bring in another fur kid one would think they would move a little faster.  On Monday it will be three weeks since I completed the application for Mushi.  I sent an email last week asking if I was even being considered.  Nothing, no response at all.  Now come on people!  My one sister in law has told me that in her next life she wants to come back as one of my pets because as she tells it "do they know they won the lottery"!  So my frustration continues but I am not waiting around.  I have completed yet another adoption application for a little guy named Trevor.  Here is Trevor's picture..

This little guy is 2 years old and only weighs 8 pounds.  I hope he will put on a few extra pounds.  Anyway, he is being fostered and the organization is only an hour from here.  So let's see where this leads.  I would like a female however Trevor's foster mom tells me it's not the gender, it's the dog when adding pets to an existing house with pets.  Stay tuned.....hope you have a great weekend.

  1. I know how frustrating the process can be. When Wayne and I were first looking to adopt, we put in an app for a mastiff puppy, Olive, and never once heard back from the organization. Both of our pups were adopted through a local foster organization, that we found to be very responsible. We will pray that the right dog will finds his or her way into your home soon....
